RAK Ceramics unveils new collections: Portofino and RAK-DES
A leading manufacturer of tiles, porcelain stoneware surfaces, sanitaryware and bathroom furnishings, RAK Ceramics presents Portofino 60x60 and Portofino Brick 6.5x26, two new surface collections inspired by the timeless charm of Liguria’s coastline.
Portofino Greige 60x60 cm interprets the materiality of natural stone through subtle tonal variations that evoke the beauty of the iconic Italian Riviera. Its glossy surface captures and reflects light, creating dynamic and ever-changing interiors. Designed for refined residential settings, the collection is also available in Blue, Musk and White.
The Portofino Brick collection draws inspiration from the authentic atmosphere and vibrant colours of the famous Ligurian seaside destination. The 6.5x26 cm format offers extensive design flexibility, allowing the creation of monochromatic or multicoloured wall compositions through the combination of different shades and finishes available in the range. The Ocean and Greige variants, with their luminous and nuanced appearance, recall the colours of the sea and rocky coastline, helping to create original Mediterranean-inspired spaces.
Available colours include Pink, Musk, White, Green, Ocean, Blue, Greige, Coral, Sage and Sand.
The new Portofino surface collection pairs seamlessly with RAK-DES, a bathroom collection inspired by Bauhaus principles and characterised by pure, essential and balanced forms. The collection enables sophisticated interior design concepts defined by elegance and timeless appeal.
The 60 cm freestanding RAK-DES washbasin in glossy Alpine White is conceived as a sculptural, monolithic element featuring clean lines and rounded contours. Designed for contemporary projects, it combines aesthetics and functionality, becoming the focal point of the bathroom through its refined simplicity.
Available in six colours: Alpine White, Matt White, Matt Greige, Matt Cappuccino, Matt Grey and Matt Black.
The 52 cm wall-hung RAK-DES WC represents the perfect balance between aesthetic research and functional innovation. Its clean lines and minimalist design support a versatile and timeless design language inspired by the Bauhaus movement. Rimless technology ensures enhanced hygiene standards and easier maintenance, while the glossy Alpine White finish highlights the purity of its forms and the brightness of the ceramic surface.
