The "playful minimalism" of Moooi’s NomNom Light

Moooi launches new NomNom Light by Odin Visser, a versatile suspension collection which adds a contemporary touch to the brand's proposal. The simplicity of two straight lines and a sphere creates the funny illusion of two chopsticks holding something delicious, but this modestly sized suspension light is the perfect example of the art of omission while remaining distinctive. It results in fact from wanting to create something that catches the eye, without unnecessary detailing. A design that would excel in simple functionality but remained intriguing. The designer calls it "playful minimalism".

The NomNom Light, made of anodized aluminium frame and a glass sphere, is available in six colours - Nori, Wasabi, Ginger, Blossom, Indigo, and Ruby.

Besides the possibility to have a full dimming range, with Moooi’s Wireless Wall Switch it is even possible to have the full control over NomNom Light with one touch: this component needs no electricity (excluding the 110V version). It works with an energy harvesting technique, which means when you use it; it charges itself. The Wireless Wall Switch comes in White and Anthracite and is available separately.
