Heimat: a "sensual and playful" line of furniture

Interior designer Victoria-Maria launches her first line of furniture, Heimat, unveiling the pieces at the 5th edition of Collectible Brussels from May 19 to 22, 2022.
Europhile of German origin, she has chosen the name Heimat as it symbolises: “the motherland, family and what we love and miss when we are far from it, not only people, but also objects and things and by extension... furniture!

This new line, composed of 13 pieces - which is destined to grow - allows Victoria-Maria to let her imagination run wild.
She loves to sketch and imagine one-of-a-kind designs filled with joie de vivre, a reflection of her vibrant and worldly personality, and her love for the marriage of different eras, materials and patterns.

The collection is sensual and playful thanks to its rich materials and round, voluptuous pieces.
The Diane armchair reminds us of Marie-Antoinette’s headdresses, while the Aimée bench has an amusing appearance of a sweet two-legged creature. The Clarence, Penelope and Wensceslas sofas all include beautiful prints with elegant silhouettes and feminine, timeless designs.

Victoria-Maria is particularly fond of the Roger table: “I just find it crazy how it can balance like that!
Most of the time, these pieces of furniture were first thought of for private projects but on the contrary, Victoria-Maria enjoys designing pieces that she would like to see in her clients’ homes or even in her own home.
