Now in its fifteenth edition, Clerkenwell Design Week 2026 has established itself as the UK’s leading independent design festival, attracting architects, designers and industry professionals looking for innovative solutions and emerging trends.

The event takes place across showrooms and exhibition venues along Clerkenwell Road in north-east London, an area that has become one of Europe’s highest concentrations of architecture and design studios. For the occasion, Casalgrande Padana will present a range of new ceramic surface collections.

Saxum: Seductive Beauty in Porcelain Stoneware

Saxum is a porcelain stoneware collection inspired by natural elements — born from the sun, sculpted by the wind and shaped by water. Irregular veining, delicate earth and sand shades, neutral and grey tones, and a contemporary yet natural aesthetic merge with the imperfections left by time, revealing the charm of an ancient material that has accompanied human evolution for centuries.

Elements: Compositional Freedom and Creative Contamination

Versatility and design freedom define the new Elements collection: a series of ceramic surfaces where minimalist urban style meets the warmth of wood-inspired finishes, creating striking and creative combinations. Thanks to the possibility of blending three different textures in either tone-on-tone continuity or contrasting compositions, the porcelain stoneware collection enables seamless transitions between spaces or, alternatively, the clear definition of functional areas, both indoors and outdoors.

Essence: A New Light for Porcelain Stoneware

Essence combines refined materiality with advanced technology that perfectly synchronises graphics and structure, redefining the concept of wood-inspired surfaces. Warm and sophisticated larch finishes — widely used in Alpine architecture — interpret the distinctive characteristics of natural wood, where every slab is unique and every detail becomes a design element. The collection creates a synthesis of colour, design and technical performance, opening the way to endless creative possibilities and innovative architectural solutions.

Pebbles: Contemporary Elegance in Porcelain Stoneware

Pebbles is characterised by the random combination of stones and pebbles of varying sizes embedded within the ceramic surface, resulting in a richly detailed pattern with a modern and sophisticated look. Its balanced chromatic palette and material texture generate irregular repetitions and one-of-a-kind surfaces capable of enhancing a wide variety of interior and exterior settings.
