Neolith earns EcoVadis Gold Medal

For the fourth year running, Neolith, a specialist in sintered stone surfaces, has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal – the most prestigious international environmental sustainability certification. The award testifies to the Spanish brand’s status as one of the highest-scoring global enterprises, and demonstrates its commitment to sustainability, innovation and excellence across the entire supply chain.

EcoVadis is the world’s best-known certification system for corporate sustainability and is based on four key themes: environment, employment and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The results of the analyses carried out in these four areas enable businesses to measure and benchmark their progress, as a basis for drawing up strategic action plans.

This gold medal testifies to Neolith’s ranking in the 97th percentile, making it one of the highest-scoring companies, with a score approaching the maximum that EcoVadis can award.

The Spanish brand has taken numerous initiatives aimed at strengthening this vocation in recent years. These include investing in cleaner, more efficient production processes; integrating renewable energy into its plants, gradually cutting emissions, promoting a circular economy, and implementing a rigorous selection procedure to ensure that its suppliers meet the highest standards of responsibility.

These efforts have boosted Neolith’s commitment to promoting the sustainable transformation of design and architecture, while keeping a close focus on innovation, to generate positive impact. The large-format sintered stone surfaces that are the flagship of the brand’s product range have some of the lowest levels of crystalline silica on the market, and incorporate recycled materials into every model, in proportions of up to 98% for certain colours in the standard range.
