Laminam and the Polish Pavilion at Expo 2015

With 800sq.m of ceramic coverings, Laminam's Collection line plays the starring role in the Polish Pavilion at Expo 2015.

An intense black leads visitors along a scenographic pathway showcasing the natural assets of the country, culminating in the "Magic Garden" relaxation area, which takes the form of a symbolic orchard, in a clear allusion to Polish agriculture and the increasingly green philosophy associated with it.

Poland's construction industry is always a hive of activity, and the design for the Polish Pavilion was produced by the architect Piotr Musiałowski of 2PM, in conjunction with a team of designers from WXCA, who selected the covering materials with a view to creating a stark textural contrast between interior and exterior.

That's why they opted for Collection, Laminam's longest-running series, because its solid colours, used as a background, play a decisive role in defining architectural spaces and volumes.
