vThe first edition of SUPERFACES – the new international event dedicated to the sector of surfaces for architecture, organized by IEG - Italian Exhibition Group – is debuting at Rimini exhibition center, from November 12 to 14, 2020.
In a strategic area for demand, SUPERFACES will exhibit the most recent material innovations from leading manufacturing companies of floors and walls.
The new B2B exhibition will offer retailers, distributors, contractors and architects an enhanced surface offer, a total overview of the innovative surfaces world for contemporary and future living.
Special emphasis will be given to resilient and vinyl surfaces (a sector with growth forecasts from 6 to 18% between 2014 and 2022 in European countries), resin, cement, wood, natural fibers and, in general, all next-generation materials made with innovative processes or new combinations.
SUPERFACES is going to meet present and future needs of a constantly evolving market, offering performing trendy surfaces for architecture 3.0; besides, the knowledge of finishing materials for architecture and construction will be fast and complete.
In this first edition, Sustainability is standing out, being an essential design requirement. Contemporary and future interior material trends will have great attention as well, stressing the importance of the material as a strategic asset and an added value for every kind of project (residential, commercial or HoReCa).
Further creative ideas and inspiration will be given by meetings and workshops held by professionals and a thematic exhibition including brands’ new products within an emotional and interactive path. The SUPERFACES Design Award 2020 is introduced as a special recognition assigned to the most cutting-edge products shown at the fair by the exhibiting companies. A committee of experts, designers, architects, technicians and dealers will select it.
SUPERFACES will also host an area for top foreign buyers: the service – as a result of the passionate incoming activity by IEG – will give exhibitors the possibility to fix appointments at the designated business-meeting platform, according to a previously set agenda.v
